The closer to graduation I get, the more I realize how I’m going to miss my family. Small things like talking with my dad about basketball, wrestling with my brother, having semi-serious, “semi-push her buttons” arguments with my mom, and being the typical “older brother” to my little sister, are things that I am going to miss dearly. I’ve been blindly taking advantage of these simple joys for a number of years. It has been a little depressing realizing a major portion of my relationship with my family is now going to take place over a telephone. This feeling is intertwined with the excitement and anxiety of being off on my own at college though. This emotion brewing inside me has a feeling similar to that of eating a chocolate and cough syrup flavored ice cream cone.
Things with a particular friend, (the one mentioned in a few past entries,) have become less hectic. God is continuously pouring out his blessings on me and my loved ones, giving me nothing to gripe about. Over the past few weeks, life has been good. Nothing out of the ordinary has occurred, and no hardships have had to be faced. Daily life is in its prime. I’m enjoying the majority of my schooling. Basketball has been flying by. I’ve finally decided what school I will be attending in the fall.

Spaciously pondering,
Confusingly wondering,
Fully believing.
